Tesco – Disabled toilet signage update
To update the disabled toilet door signage in 20 Tesco stores. ‘Not all disabilities are visible’ was the message the client wanted to convey in the new signage. This would mean removing the old, standard disabled door signage and replacing with new.
Live photographs and data captured for pre and post install. All data is transmitted direct from store and made available for the client to view online, in real time.
The client was updated daily on the status of the project.
All 20 stores were to be attended and completed by Friday 18th November. The brief was to remove the old signage and install new to the same specifications, matching colour and location. Install was agreed with the store managers on arrival and any queries were raised direct from site to ensure the install was correct first time.
All fitters were CSCS accredited along with production of RAMS to ensure we met all of our health and safety obligations. Works were signed off by the store manager on the compulsory Tesco scorecard and graded using the RAG system – all stores where install took place were to be ‘Green’.
All installations were supported by our unique real time web based reporting system enabling data and photos to be transmitted direct from store.
