Tesco Express Stores

Project Brief

Our objective was to survey and install the correct signage for circa 350 Tesco express stores throughout the year. Each store had to receive an individual site survey prior to attendance.

The store specific survey can be made up of up to 500 different items of equipment which need to be installed after approval.

Our Approach

We had to work in line with the site contractor and supplier to ensure the store was ready for the delivery and installation of signage.

 

Installation slots were booked in with a contingency visit for snagging also provided if required.

 

Post install pictures and any relevant site data along with electronic and physical signatures were to be captured.

 

All data is then to be transferred direct from site where it is made available for client viewing and assessment via our unique web portal.

March 2014

Timeframe

We were working toward contractor and programme requests for 7 days per week, and up to 51 weeks per year. Working volumes involved staff attending up to 20 individual stores throughout peak periods.

Compliance

All stores required pre checks and physical site surveys to assess what specific items were required to complete the project. Works were required to be carried out within the requested time scales and any additions to the project to be accommodated for too.

Compliance standard of 98.6% is to be achieved on the Tesco supplier performance tracker throughout the job.
